My idling time...

Such a long idling time indeed from the last postings..Guess thats what we will become when it comes to 'phase' change in life. And me...many of these life changing phases happened pretty quickly.. I do miss my blog, especially those from previous entries.. I might spend some time reading them back again to remind what I was before.
TIME had matured me in many ways..Within months, I have to adjust living with extra buddies which I will cherished for the rest of my life, move work again and juggling between life and work..
Maybe, with the current technological advancement I had (having a new my smart phone that is), I might be an active blogger again... It'll be a personal accomplishment to me... No time is all I have everyday, or thats just how I justify it, excuses huh...

Don't you wish your girlfriend was Hot Like Me?

After landed on solid hometown ground from my 3 days trip to Jakarta, I've been enlightened of the what it takes to live in a mega city like it..I once thought much less of it, pity me.. Being so trapped and confined to the couture city of  KL, now it has opened up a few doors of awesomeness to the city I newly acquinted with.

I've been watching, and observing and analysing, their fashion fiesta, which I dare say is more hip and strictly high fashion than those in KL, the hippest place in Malaya. On this fashion race, we are a long way behind than them, believe it or not!

In a Summit conference I once attended in December (YCM Summit) where renowned CEOs all over the country sat in front of 1000+ participiants,  described the emerging ASEAN: Indonesia is described by the economist and analyst, as such it is in a "taking off" stage which Malaysia had been in for the last 30 years in time.. then, next question raised in my mind "Did Malaysia ever actually takes off?

Let's not get so serious on this issue.Jakarta is now has become a Mega City, crowded and very2 frequent traffic jam. The locals call it "macet", and it became like a norm over there. Like me, I wouldn't complain too much on this, I know what the city have to offer. Whenever you planned to go anywhere, do give a 2 hour grace period in order to arrive on time.

Hello dear readers, I wished I could change my lifestyle to become the topic I wrote above. I wished I could have a career that keeps me always on the move, and let me be at the edge of everything. I wished to be popular..

I am now waiting to board a flight to somewhere near, it'll be one of the place where I yarn to go all the time. GUESS??

Connected to this free wifi for 2 hours in KLIA is .. I would say quite efficient considering its speed and reloading time. Each time I am en-route to somewhere, I would definitely turn on the laptop and enjoy some couple of hours surfing. Well done KLIA and MAB. Infact, just seconds ago, I discovered a new "added value" of service... Me, having my light meal and Teh C at Jonker's cafe (near Gate B area) was taken by surprised to a soft announcement of "Assalamualaikum"... on the speaker of KLIA. " Sekarang diumumkan sudah masuk waktu solat Zohor bagi kawansan Sepang, Kuala Lumpur dan kawasan2 sekitarnya." .. Well, to my surprise, this is the first I heard such announcement in KLIA, one of the busiest airport in the world. It may have been a new initiative, or it is already been practiced long time ago... Pity me, am I the last person to know? Well, whatever it is, I am truly glad to see there is an initiative to add another effortless service at one of the most well known airport in the world, barulah sepadan dengan nama Malaysia negara Islam. Well Done again.

Doobraye Ootro, Doobraye Dien,

"Previet"..  means "hi or hello" in the Russian language. That's what I learned from my business trip to Turkmenistan. It was an overwhelming, unexpected and worthwhile experience.For those who's not familiar to where this country is, I have a perfect solution for that, a snapshot of the map.. here it is.

Geography to you

Our flight took off from KLA at around 9.10, and arrived 2 hours later in Bangkok where we had around 2 hour transit. Our tickets were booked as Business Class but our boarding pass was not stated so. Hence, there we are in the middle of Suvarnabumi airport sitting restlessly at the sidewalk in order to kill the time.

At around 1 p.m Bangkok time, we departed for Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan which took another 6 more hours for us to be on the plane. Bored, slept, eat, read and finished off with a visit to the lavatory, we finally arrived in Ashgabat where the ground temperature were currently 38C.

Fertile Land

This is the view from our Malaysian friend's house, overlooking through the window at around 8 p.m. The sun will set at around 8.50 pm, as it is now one of the longest summer days. All the buildings looking very-very neat as it is made of white marble. Marble and its cooling properties does help in maintaining moderate temperature inside these buildings. When we arrived, it was around 6.30 p.m. Only 2 ++ more hours before sunset. We then decided to eat out. There is a neat place just next to this apartment (which I can't recall its name). We ordered shashlik of everything. That means grilled meat of various type (chicken, mutton, beef). I've tasted this type of cooking almost everyday, whilst staying in a neighbourhood of middle eastern and pakistanis decendents. So, its not so new to me.

Fever and the rest of it

I'm feeling feverish.. for the past 4 days.. Yes, the flu especially. Am I already infected with the virus? We have been so overwhelmed with the H1N1 pandemic, especially myself who is doing all these promos on avoiding H1N1. Now, is it my turn already to catch it..I've even made a poster out of it.. I've been a lazy bum for the past 4 months..... or so.. Its not that I don't have anything to write, its just not having the right time and mood. It wasn't due to the fact that I'm all too engrossed with work, its only that I am not as sharp as a writer as before. I've been wanting to talk about wedding, food, marketing, shop blogs and my online biz.. All that, have to wait.. Some mood swings I have nowadays.

To date, I've finished off Cinta Sufi, 9 Nyawa, and now currently on my reading list is Ayat-Ayat Cinta. Yup, getting all hooked up with books will take away the stress out from my head, the heavy burden and the personal problems which lingers around in my head.

Yesterday was Father's Day. (Happy Father's Day to my Papa). Hope you like the present I bought ya. Oh yes, I managed to change the size ... I hope you like it and will wear it during Raya time.

Happy birthday to baby Adreeyan Ilham Naufal, whom we welcomed to the world about a year ago here. You are now a lucky 1 year old boy, whom mommy is so wonderful, to throw a birthday party for you with a oh so delicious looking cakes and cuppies... I like! Auntie wished I was there too... only I came there bit too early ayy...

Well, actually, the reason why I got so active in blogging lately is because of frustration ... wrt career prospects. I know, I must be grateful. But, nevertheless, the human in me, does get affected or so by it. O Allah, Praise to You and all these blessings that You have given without conditions. It is us who is so overwhelmed with greed and worldiness affections. Please Allah, let me have happiness, in life and the life hereafter. Ameen.

I overworked... and it feels good!

You've got to be strong

Today I've heard somebody was saying.. A lady, in the men's dominated world, need to work 10 times more harder just to earn the same respect of a man's. And how true that is. This was not the first time I've heard it, and I partly agree.

You see, I'm quite used to the fact that western companies really does use their equal opportunities right.. I'm no activist, so I'm not going to comment more. However, that statement I had today, was somehow brought back to me in a manner that made me reflect into me. Am I really destined to be stuck here, in this fast paced world where, I know that I should and can do more happier things and that I can succeed in...

I don't really fancy what I'm doing at the moment, now I can see the more you become powerful, the more you want to be greedy, and at points, you may even slipped up, and at any time, people can just topple you down. I also don't really fancy the lifestyle of people with money, enjoying and spending the money all the time. Do they do sedekah? Do they take care of their families, friends? Most of all, do they care on helping out with the need?

I sincerely pray, that when that day (or opportunity) arises for me, I'd like to do some happiness to other people. InsyaAllah.

Business online

Hey, I'm thinking (real hard) to start a business selling items online. I like the idea of home office, and less travelling. and I have loads of stuffs to let go. So, watch out for its launching time..

I'm looking for wedding dress designer.

Fikir punya fikir, its quite tiring just to browse through endless page links looking for wedding designer's webpage. Still I think I haven't got a hold all of them yet. I sort of like these dresses.

I've forgotten where got this pic from but its the bridemaid's dress that stands out in my eyes.. :)

I like the lapel (betul ke eja) for the bride's gown. It gives a hint of modern, in a kebaya, using a very soft colour lace. 

WOW... Am I missing the big wave of bride blogging?

Being me, who's hands are too tired to type, who's mind are too filled with AOB, who's time are too precious to spend on other things than "beauty sleep" I didn't realise the world of blogging have taken an up notch to a whole new setting in the cyber world. Yeap, I started blogging while being Over the Sea to share photos, experiences and our way of life to my close friends back home. Yet, the idea still had not sunk too deep into me, that blogging can be a pretty niche community - if you know what you want to look out for. I've seen SN (as in CandidSyndrome) became millionaire from scratch, I was one of his big followers then. I've been addicted to gossip blogs like SM (as in the AF unofficial critique) and a few other reporters blog... which is fairly normal for them because they are the people who need to uses all sort of medium to spread news and gossip.

Have you heard.. bride blogging?? One after another, pages after pages that now I discovered this new social network - sharing of views, exchanging ideas and making it a reality.. NEAT!  Whilelacetale, 2 Become 1, SueSunshine to name a few. Some even put in a loooong list of blog roll, all is owned by bride to be's.

This I find very much interesting because it came in handy for people like me who don't really have any place to refer to for planning a wedding. (Darn, blame it on the work load).. hehehehe.. tak lah.. I should say Alhamdullillah, with the job I have, my wedding will somewhat be "secured".

So, to celebrate this new eye opening ceremony, I will bit by bit put in widgets, stuffs, links or items that can help me to manage and plan my big day; and if there is any other bloggers who's still interested to see me blogging nowadays you're most welcome to drop by.

One big step I've done here is the wedding day countdown and engagement history. Do I want to share my engagement prep?  I can share some links to give some hints thought. Since it was a pretty quick prep, I can summarize my overall Engagement prep in a posting later. Let me recheck back on the details.

On Boxing Day

New Assignment

Dear Fellow Colleagues & Friends,

I wished to inform that I will resume my new assignment as **** Executive at Corporate HSE, KLCC) ****** on the 19^th of October 2009. My current role will now be put under Pn. Fara Eusniza (previously HSE MS Executive, SSE). All matters pertaining to Occupational Health shall from now on be relayed to her.

I feel so attached to SBO, that I don’t really want to write a farewell note. So, treat this email as one of the “FYI only” email. I first set foot in Sabah back in 2006 as my first assignment in PETRONAS. Those were the days where everything here is new to me. With a blink of an eye, 3.5 years had passed-I am now a new person (pandai suda cakap Sabah). I not only acquire the desired knowledge & skills, but I experienced such great bonding, and gained a new family in SBO, it’s the place where everybody knows everybody! I am now proud to call Sabah as my home.

I can never thanked enough to my managers for believing my capability to carry out the responsibility vested upon me, and not to forget my SSE colleagues & SBO medics for the experience that they share with me.

To my fellow YPCian, you guys ARE my heart and soul. Without you, my heart will stop beating. That’s how influential you guys are to me.

My humblest appreciation goes to all of you; to know that you sacrificed your time for me, to bear with my many requests, to smile and laugh with me and especially to play and win together with me. I dedicate this to my friends at offshore & terminals and also CSD & iPerintis colleagues.

Please accept my sincerest apology if there were any wrong doings that may offended any of you in any ways. I hope our friendship won’t end here, please feel free to say hi once in a while ya! Don’t worry, I won’t be too far from KK you know.

Hi... long time no see.. when we did see each other, we talked about something serious. It's the thing about the virus. Well, I am in no mood to talk serious today, so I'll tease and feast your eyes with some of my promo posters which I designed in line of my duty. Drop your comments please.

Fatfaced Effa

Its not really what its meant by "Fat Face".. it is the name of the store where I am being employed now. Yey, this is the place of my whereabouts now if anyone wants to find me. Though it is only for part time position, I am learning and enjoying it. Sorry beb, kat sini, semua jenis kerja pun layan. As the crew for Fat Face (a.k.a sales girl la tu) I will have to do everything that needs to be done on the store floor, the till, the fitting room, the store room and just everything. The best thing is, I don't mind at all. I get to learn to operate the till which was a daunting experience as I've never ever tried to operate one before. Now, the most important thing is, I got to wear my kind of fashion to work. ...

The pay was relatively about the same of what I am getting from my summer & winter temporary job. However, the only downside that I can see from this new job is the pay day is always at the end of every month. So, I wouldn't be able to enjoy my salary every weekend like I usually do. It will be at the end of every month that I am working. So, I will have to keep the casual job with the stadium now. Apart from that, I have no other means of income. The fact that I've spent so much money to accomodate for my family when they came last two weeks turned me into one of those alien whom doesn't have the desire of wanting to go shopping anymore. I will go out when I have to and to entertain friends whom wishes to visit me.

and what is it that I have mumbled about here?? I should stop now.
