the best present is when you least expected it to come.
Ever had the experience when out of the blue you were rewarded with something that you never thought of? Like when you've been told that you will get 4 months bonus in the middle of the year, you were given a present from the boss's secretary after handing them a simple video clip you made for the company's family day, you were given an outstanding achievement award just by being honest with your work.
As for me, though its a simple celebration from a bunch of friends (17 Deyne & 70 Heald Grove), their thoughts about celebrating it was very meaningful for me, because I didn't expected it. On top of that,I was overwhelmed of "terharu" when my newly acquinted friends (a couple) presented me with a nicely wrapped box from La Senza, I really didn't expected it.. you guess it, but you may guess it wrong. Which turns out, the only present I received today. It is still a present, and I treasure it as much as I treasure all the other wishes from text messaging, e-cards, and the most touching is an email from my mom..
Its a wonderful day for me...
Although the sad thing is that to see the age statement in my Friendster turned 26 today. I kinda like the number 25 remain until the rest of my life.. you know, age 25, on the 25th of October and 2005... it kinda rhyme together. Oh well.. that's just numbers to mark the establishment that we acquired during the counts of our lives.
Talking about Friendster, I was overwhelmed with birthday wishes from many of you guys. I wished I could say thanks to every single person whom have wished me "Happy Birthday" in my testimonials (just wait for my replies). Thanks guys, it touched my heart deeply. I didn't expected that too..
I don't like this posting because it is too much about me and my birthday. Point is.. to say thanks to you guys whom remembered me and my birthday. Love you all.
