Ever imagine if you are alone, in a place where everything is foreign to you? Have you been up to something that is adventerous that even years after that you keep repeating the story again and again to your mates and they keep on reminding you that you've already talked about that.. well, why not try it out? Let's say book yourself a ticket to Bali, alone for a weekend and just be there and enjoy the local scenes. You will never know what you're gonna get.
Although I've never had more chances to explore Europe, I did enjoy my back packing series in Amsterdam, whole of Holland and Brussels in Belgium. Let me see, some of the weird experiences that I remember making a big note in my head.
1) Amsterdam's legal wid & space cakes
2) Amsterdam's old ticket guy who wants to bring my travelling partner to his mom so that he can marry her
3) Old lady with a lot of question and not intending to let us go in Brussel's train station
4) An unexpected "acquintance" nearby the Grand Place, Brussels.
So, I have been thinking, and analysing on the behaviour and the level of knowledge of Mat Sallehs on the presence of this country named "Malaysia" back in the times while I was there (macam dah lama aje). Overall, I can say that 8 out of 10 people will have to know and have heard about this asian country. Perhaps some are not familiar with the culture, some may not be familiar with the climate but I can say many are well aware that it is a beautiful, tropical country (minus the city).
I like this part from what Saif wrote in blog giving out tips from his own personal experience in Malaysia. Also, if anyone is interested to see the real thing, not just post cards pictures, I laid here special entries from my friends who captured the scenes during last year's fireworks during Independence Day celebration and other scenes, scenes from a real village, Thaipusam Celebration for the Indians, and I can't exaggerate more on these talents as I see it as some of the best wedding photojournalists fotopages (Saifulnang & Syed Nasir). Coming soon I may be able to present the PETRONAS Malaysian F1 GrandPrix at the place where the temperature can rise until 39-40C, Sepang. And owh.. who can forget the food?! There's sooooo much to eat, and to choose from!!! I will get the picture for the food myself.. Just have to wait for more updates..
